We, mom and dad, are working on the back-end of this blog to document and share the learning experiences of our bilingual four year old son – Seyon. The boy is growing up in Germany in Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Waldorf inspired learning environments both at preschool and at home.
With an enthusiasm for learning and an addiction to the joy and magic that follows, we love to dedicate this space for a conversation on things like;
- processes that go into setting up a space that enables learning
- thoughts involved in the making of a learning experience
- observations on learning contexts in daily life
- documentation of a learning experience
- assessments about the learning curve for both caregiver and child
- insights that help tweak a child-led curriculum
- reviews of relevant literature, resources
and more goodness, particularly in relation to fostering a love for languages, books and reading.
